It’s Colorado…. where the weather goes from 20 degrees up to 85 degrees back down to 20 degrees and then 70 degrees all in ONE WEEK! Senior portraits revolve around our weather because senior’s want their photos taken outdoors and that makes my heart happy.
Fall is a great time for senior portraits because the weather is cooling off. However, what most people fail to realize is that from the time a senior hits their feet on the first day of school, they barely have time to fit in other activities. Many of my seniors waited till the last moment to submit their senior photos. Don’t procrastinate and don’t forget Colorado Weather is unpredictable.
Now for me as a photographer, senior and weddings season hits its peak in September. I mostly reserve weekends for weddings and week days for seniors. It amazes me how busy I get this time of the year and I love love love it!
Marni wanted a much simpler setting other than Downtown Denver so we went to South Mesa Trailhead in Boulder. We went at the end of October and were lucky to still get some fall colors. Marni’s session did not disappoint.
